Worley man admits stealing thousands from Coeur d’Alene Casino

A Worley man has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $64,000 from the counting room at the Coeur d’Alene Casino, where he worked as an employee.

Colten N. Curley, 20, was indicted in federal court in April on a charge of theft by an employee of a gaming establishment. He has admitted stealing the cash while he worked in the counting room at the casino between August and November of 2016, according to the Idaho U.S. Attorney’s Office. Many of the thefts were captured on video surveillance.

Curley will face up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in December.
