Methow trails in Winthrop Valley open for cross-country ski season

With good early season conditions 21 miles of nordic ski trails opened in the Methow Valley this week. The groomed trails are available for both skate and classic skiing.

Trail passes are required on groomed trails. Kids ski free. Adult day pass costs $24. For information: methowtrails.org. Snow shoeing, fat biking ice skating and backcountry skiing are also available in the valley. For information: winthropwashington.com.
