Snow, freezing fog expected for weekend

Expect freezing fog and some snow starting Thursday and going into the weekend.

Thursday is expected to be overcast with some freezing fog before noon with a high of 34 degrees. Thursday night should be cloudy with a low of 27 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a 60 percent chance of snow Friday before 1 p.m., but that will likely turn to rain as temperatures increase in the afternoon. New snow accumulation of one-half inch is possible. A high of 36 degrees is predicted. Friday night there is a 20 percent chance of snow before 10 p.m. with a low of 27 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 35 degrees as will Saturday night. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with high around 38 degrees.
