Girls basketball roundup: Jasey Ramelow leads University in rout over Ferris

Jasey Ramelow scored 23 points and the Titans (1-3, 1-2) defeated the visiting Saxons (0-6, 0-2) 72-31 in a Greater Spokane League game on Thursday. Ellie Boni followed closely with 20 points.

Central Valley 55, Lewis and Clark 25: Lexie Hull scored 16 points for the Bears (3-0, 3-0) and they defeated the visiting Tigers (3-4, 2-1) in GSL play. Hull also recorded 16 rebounds. For Lewis and Clark, Jacinta Buckley led the way with 13 points.

Gonzaga Prep 52, Mead 44: Demi Howlett scored 14 points and the Bullpups (3-2, 0-1) beat the visiting Panthers (2-3, 0-2) 52-44 in a GSL matchup. Howlett also hit a 3-pointer and teammate Ryan Decker scored 8. For Mead, Lindsey Russell paced the team with 14 points.

Lakeland 58, Kellogg 36: Melody Loutzenhiser scored a game-high 17 points and the Hawks (2-5, 0-0) defeated the visiting Wildcats (4-2, 0-0) in a nonleague contest. Sofi Schnepf added 12 points, nine steals and five assists for the Hawks.
