The No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs host the Santa Clara Broncos on Saturday in a matchup of two of the West Coast Conference’s top teams.

Santa Clara relied on its talented backcourt to post a road win over Portland on Thursday for its fifth victory in seven games. Jared Brownridge scored 17 points, KJ Feagin 14 and Matt Hauser 13.

Brownridge is one of the top scorers in WCC history. The 6-foot-3 senior has 2,159 career points, just 10 points behind fifth-place Anthony Ireland, the former Loyola Marymount standout.

Brownridge had mixed success against the Zags in the first meeting. He made six 3-pointers and scored 23 points but he didn’t score in the final 14:30 as Gonzaga pulled away for an 88-57 win. Feagin and Hauser combined to make just 5 of 19 shots.
