Social ills trash Seattle

My wife and I have just returned from a drive over to Seattle. We hadn’t been there in awhile so the area’s change was alarmingly stark. What used to be a bright spot in our state has turned into a garbage dump.

As I drove through much of the city, I could not help but notice the universal spread of uncollected trash under overpasses and throughout virtually every undeveloped area adjacent to the highway. Much of this trash was apparently connected to the city’s tented homeless population.

What a shame. A beautiful city besmirched by a local government obviously overwhelmed by their social problems.
