Thanks to organizers

Thank you to the organizers of the Women’s March on Spokane, Jan. 21. I am so glad the turnout was more than expected. And thank you to the participants who marched with us. Ninety-nine percent of success is showing up, and you did.

In the coming months, let us work together for justice, truth and the common good, no matter our age, religion, ethnicity, gender or politics. It’s all up to us, now. Spokane, you got game.

Letters policy

The Spokesman-Review invites original letters on local topics of public interest. Your letter must adhere to the following rules:

  • No more than 250 words
  • We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
  • We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
  • With each letter, include your daytime phone number and street address.
  • The Spokesman-Review retains the nonexclusive right to archive and re-publish any material submitted for publication.
