Body found in Nampa creek identified as missing 18-year-old

NAMPA, Idaho – A body found in a Nampa creek has been identified as an 18-year-old who was reported missing in October.

Nampa Police said Thursday that the body found Wednesday in Mason Creek has been identified as Sage Thompson.

Police are working with the Canyon County Coroner’s Office to determine cause and manner of death. The circumstances of his disappearance are still under investigation.

Thompson was reported missing in October. Police found that none of his bank cards were used after his disappearance. His family offered a $10,000 reward for information that would help find him.
