Work together on snow

Where is the Spokane I used to know? All I see on the news is what a bad job hard-working city employees are doing in clearing the streets. They are short on sleep, missing family time, working in cold, wet, dirty conditions, going home tired to the bone and going back the next day or night to do it all over again.

Yet are you out there, working with them? Moving your cars, clearing storm drains, sidewalks, offering hot beverages, snacks or a word of encouragement? A thank you sign in the snowbank? (Just use paint.) A thumbs up?

Ahh, for the old days when residents worked shoulder to shoulder with each other. Compared to Spokane, the residents in the Georgia tornados don’t know how good they have it.
