WSU women take 10th at Stanford golf tournament
STANFORD, Calif. – Cherokee Kim was the top Washington State golfer as the Cougars took 10th place at the Peg Barnard Invitational on Sunday at Stanford Golf Course.
The Cougars shot 16-over par 300 in the final round to bring its two-round score to 38-over 606.
Stanford won at 3-over 571, led by individual champion Andrea Lee at 8-under 134.
Kim moved 15 spots up the leaderboard from the first round, making four birdies Sunday and tying 18th place at 7-over 149 for her third top-25 finish of the season.
