Babysitter accused of raping young girls

A man hired to babysit two 5-year-old girls has been charged with rape.

Troy L. Bloor, also known as Troy L. Steenhard, was hired to babysit the girls in April and May of 2016, according to court documents. Several months later the girls reported abuse to their mother.

The girls said the man told them that what he was doing was secret and he would ground them if they told.

Bloor, 47, is in the Spokane County Jail facing three charges of first-degree rape of a child and four charges of first-degree child molestation. His bond has been set at $100,000.
