Taking us to war

Because President Trump’s order pertained to immigration, the hot debate has focused on the immigration and terrorism. Except we’ve never been attacked by a terrorist that originated in those nations. This list doesn’t concern terrorism; it’s a list of countries subject to our coming war.

We’re told we need this to keep us safe, which is strange because I don’t sense that people felt threatened at a discomforting level. But now the fear is assumed because we need “safety” because, once again, we’re going to war.

The president said straight up in his first speech he’ll “unite civilized forces” and “wipe terrorists off the face of the earth.” Can’t get much clearer. Said at the CIA, “We should have taken their oil last time, maybe we’ll get another shot.” Any questions?

Your third war in three straight Republican presidential administrations is expressly about oil. The list of seven nations is actually the list of enemies. This war will make you poorer, less safe. Those in the military, they have the highest stakes. It will make a few thousand people much richer. OK with you?
