Architecture

Integrus Architecture has announced a number of additions to its team. David Buescher has been hired as a project architect working with the government team. Steven Clark joins Integrus’ higher education team. Tim Hazelbaker has been hired as an architect and project manager for the government team. Charleen Ince has experience in wholesale distribution, insurance and higher education and has been hired as office assistant. Newly hired architectural technician Steve Miles has over 10 years in the architectural industry, spanning commercial, entertainment, medical, retail and residential projects. Megan Pharmer joins Integrus as an interior designer with the government team and has a background in adaptive reuse and tenant improvements. Eddy Svidgal has been hired as project architect working with the government team and has spent 25 years designing custom homes in Sun Valley, Idaho. Suzanne Urbanec joins Integrus as the accounts payable bookkeeper and has experience in corporate and nonprofit bookkeeping.

Integrus Architecture also announced its most recent group of interns. Beppu Masataka is an intern architect with the government team; Suzanne Borden is an interior design intern; Travis Leaf is an intern architect with the government team; Blanca Rodriguez is an intern architect with the government team; and Kayla Stoker is an intern architect with the government and higher education teams.

Construction

Nick Gonzales has been promoted to vice president at Bouten Construction Co. Gonzales was hired as a project engineer at Bouten in 2006 after spending a year at the company as an intern. Gonzales has worked on projects related to the construction of laboratories, health care facilities, schools and the Tri-Cities Airport modernization.

Dental

Providence Health Care, CHAS Health and the Spokane District Dental Society have announced plans to establish a dental residency program in Spokane and build two dental clinics to bring dental care to nearly 12,000 low-income adults. The plans call for a residency program training up to six dentists per year, an outpatient clinic focused on preventive care near Holy Family Hospital and a clinic based at Sacred Heart Medical Center, focusing on care for those with significant medical issues. Completion is expected in 2018 and the total cost of the residency and clinics is estimated at $5 million.

Education

Beth Johnson has been hired as Eastern Washington University’s new associate president of philanthropy. Johnson will work within University Advancement to lead fundraising efforts in support of Eastern’s goals and priorities. She comes to EWU from New Mexico where she worked with nonprofit organizations.

Law enforcement

The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office has announced the promotion of Capt. Ror Lakewold to undersheriff. Lakewold is a 25-year veteran of the department and has held every rank possible within the agency.

Marketing

Sam Fleming has been hired by Imprezzio Inc. as vice president of product marketing. Fleming brings 20 years of marketing experience and will focus on aligning Imprezzio’s products to the market’s needs.

Imprezzio Inc. also has hired Warner Carrillo as vice president of client engagement. Carrillo comes from Farmers Insurance and has 15 years experience in the insurance industry.

Medicine

Columbia Surgical Specialists has announced that Carol Guthrie will begin practicing at the downtown location. Guthrie has been in practice for over 30 years and specializes in breast surgery. She is a graduate of UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine.
