Press is hypocritical

It is now an art form for the press to pounce on every misspoken word from the Trump administration. The press made an issue about the fact that Press Secretary Sean Spicer said there was a terrorist attack in Atlanta. Spicer is reported to have said, “I don’t think you have to look any further than the families of the Boston Marathon, in Atlanta, in San Bernardino to ask if we can go further.” Gee, do you suppose Spicer was thinking of Orlando and said Atlanta instead, just maybe?

Maybe he should have added Toronto, Oklahoma or Fort Hood, but he misspoke regarding Atlanta. In my opinion, the media hypocrisy is stunning. I don’t recall any mainstream media outlet saying anything critical about Obama claiming to have visited 57 states, or talking about Navy “corpsemen” rather than corpsman, or confusing Memorial Day with Veterans Day, or about hundreds of other examples of Obama’s ignorance or verbal faux pas, whichever the case may have been.

But the media’s clear leftist bias is on display. Trump and his administrative operatives will have to get used to being hypocritically dissected at every turn and given no quarter from the media.
