Anderson, 22, is a paralegal in the Air Force’s legal branch, the Judge Advocate General’s Corps.

A native of San Diego, California, she joined the Air Force in 2014 and now provides a range of legal services, such as drafting wills for retired service members.

“I wanted to help people, and I figured the Air Force was the best way I could do that,” she said.
