UCLA scores early in taking a 5-4 baseball victory over Gonzaga
UCLA scored four runs in the second inning and added another in the third which the Bruins rode to a 5-4 victory over Gonzaga on Sunday in Los Angeles.
Tyler Frost hit a solo homer for the Bulldogs and almost had another in the eighth, but it was snagged by Bruins (4-2) left fielder Brett Stephens.
Jake Vieth, Justin Jacobs and Jeff Bohling had two hits each for the Bulldogs (3-4) with Vieth driving in two runs.
Starter Casey Legumina (0-1) went six innings and took the loss.
