Spokane police looking for man accused of flashing Logan Elementary School students

Spokane police are looking for a man who allegedly exposed himself to Logan Elementary School students Monday afternoon.

School district spokesman Kevin Morrison said the incident happened at about 12:15 p.m. during the students’ lunch break. Several students notified a playground supervisor after seeing the man. The supervisor radioed the front office, and police were called immediately, Morrison said.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s with a graying beard. He drove a black pickup truck with a tinted rear window. The students were in a fenced yard and the man exposed himself on North Hamilton Street, on the other side of the fence, Morrison said.

Parents were notified of the incident by email and automated phone calls. Morrison said there will be an increased police presence at the school during the next several days. Anyone with information about the incident should call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
