False credit for Trump

The author of the “Trump already doing well” letter is wrong. The Carrier deal “saved” 800 jobs while costing the state a minimum of $7 million in handouts and still shipping at least 600 jobs to Mexico. Meanwhile, the Obama administration economic policy added 178,000 jobs in November alone.

When President Obama took office, the U.S. was shedding 750,000 jobs per month. Since then, the U.S. has experienced 78 months of job expansion and has also added 12 million new jobs that didn’t exist prior to Obama’s presidency. Unemployment down from 10.1 percent in 2009 to 4.9 percent in 2016. In a healthy economy, a 5 percent unemployment level has long been considered “normal” by economists.

The ubiquitous nature of computers masquerading as phones really places the onus of ignorance on the owner of the phone. Duped by “fair and balanced” commentary, engaged folks now have the opportunity to easily explore more than one line of evidence toward understanding complex matters in today’s society. The author clearly needs a tutorial targeting searches for reputable websites which offer solutions which are not compromised by partisan rhetoric or just blatantly Fake News.
