Communicate with Congress

However you voted last November, I don’t think that you voted against congressional ethics oversight. The vote that was chaired by our very own Cathy McMorris Rodgers. I also have to believe that you didn’t vote to have millions of women in our country lose access to health care and preventative services such as mammograms, cancer screenings and birth control. Yet that is exactly what will happen if Planned Parenthood is defunded.

I believe that this election will lead to many unintended consequences and it is up to each of us to be vigilant and let our elected officials know what it is that we really voted for. If you voted for Trump because you thought he was a good businessman and would keep jobs here in the U.S., great, but don’t let him defund Planned Parenthood, take away your health care, Social Security or Medicare. Speak up and let your representatives know how you feel.
