Fight the abomination

I suspect those Hollywood egos Lucy Holt mentions in her letter (“Hollywood drama,” Jan. 4) who did not leave the U.S. after Trump’s election realized theirs was a futile and pointless expression of disdain and dismay. Perhaps faced with the realization of changing from an extremely successful eight-year run of the Obama Nation, they decided they would rather remain here and fight the new Trump abomination.

One cannot repair the damage this paranoid, narcissistic, amoral blowhard may do over the next four years if they don’t stay within our American system of protest, outrage and a 2020 presidential election.
