Multi-vehicle semi truck crash blocking westbound lanes of I-90 east of Coeur d’Alene

A multi-vehicle semi truck crash is blocking the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 at milepost 34, about 25 miles east of Coeur d’Alene.

The Idaho State Police said it would take about three hours to clear the wreckage.

“We are working as quickly as we can to clear the road, but the road will be closed for a significant amount of time,” the department stated in a news release.

The collision occurred sometime around 8 a.m. Some of the drivers reportedly sustained injuries in the crash.
