Sessions article omits support

Regarding the Jan. 12 Associated Press article “Black lawmakers say Sessions unfit”: I watched the televised testimony and wondered why the story didn’t mention the three black men who supported Sessions, as well as a former attorney general, Michael Mukasey, who is a Republican.

Well, it’s because The Spokesman-Review took it upon themselves to omit the last three paragraphs of the article as written. The way the Spokesman portrayed the article shed just the negative light on Sessions and not the whole story, which based on the Review’s version, made it look as though nobody supported Sessions.

In all fairness, The Spokesman-Review should reprint the whole story and mention the portion they chose to leave out.
