CMR could recalibrate

Wow, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers got booed at what should have been a friendly MLK event by constituents enraged that she’s voting to take away their health care.

Of the 10 counties she represents, 86,721 will lose health care because the Republicans have voted to repeal the funding mechanism for ACA and have nothing to replace it. She beat Joe Pakootas by 62,384 votes. Given this slim margin against the number of constituents she’s voted to shaft, maybe she should recalibrate her repeal-and-replace nonsense and realize that the people she represents aren’t buying.

She didn’t get secretary of the interior, but Trump was only teasing her the way he did Romney with secretary of state. He played her political ambitions and reminded her district that this was all about her and that she didn’t give a rip for the people.

Those 86,721 of the 5th District who wish to retain their health care need to contact her office and tell her.
