Enhance traffic flow

Occasionally a zone of my sprinkler system gets blocked, restricting the flow of life-giving water to that area of my lawn. The effects of the restriction are quick and obvious – distress and soon decline. There may be an inefficient work-around to water the parched area, but the most efficient way is to prevent the restriction from happening in the first place.

The mayor and city council of Spokane have plans to create a significant restriction to the flow of traffic by imposing the North Monroe Corridor Project 2018 on the citizens of Spokane. Their plan to cut the current five lanes of traffic down to three lanes by creating a type of Kendall Yard pedestrian friendly model shows a complete lack of understanding and consideration for the thousands of citizens who use North Monroe Street and the future of North Spokane. Project 2018 will create a serious restriction to a major arterial in Spokane.

Spokane would be much better served by a plan that enhances an efficient flow of traffic while providing pedestrian safety. Want to grow Spokane? Enhance rather than restrict the flow of traffic. Want to confound people about Spokane? Support the North Monroe Corridor Project 2018.
