GSL rivalry basketball games feature special cause

The three traditional rivalry baketball games in the Greater Spokane League this week have an added component – ‘Three-pointers for a Cause’.

For every 3-pointer made during the doubleheaders played at the Spokane Arena, Numerica Credit Union will donate $20 to a charity chosen by the schools.

First up are Central Valley and University on Tuesday. Tipoff for the doubleheader begins with the girls game at 5.

North Central and Shadle Park face off on Wednesday, beginning with the girls at 5:30.

Ferris and Lewis and Clark conclude things Thursday, tipping off at 5:30 with the girls.

CV and U-Hi have chosen ACCOIN as their charity. Shadle and NC will combine for the Rypien Foundation. And Ferris and LC will shoot to help Safety Net and the MLK Family Center.
