Happy for the Zags fans. Pretty cool. Really hope they get to a Final Four this year. People love to criticize the Zags, but they don’t realize what an accomplishment this is for a small private school without a football program.
#1 by default. Happy for the school, but put them in the loaded Pac-12 or ACC and they have losses.
We’re really going to do this again? They should be #1, but no one actually believes theyre the best team in the nation.
Gonzaga needs to stop this. Move out of the WCC and play some good competition troughout the conference season.
You might be surprised actually… this is not the typical good Gonzaga team and they can beat anyone in the country on any given night. KenPom has them #1 as well and that’s an analytical ranking.
Let them enjoy it. If they finish undefeated, more power to them. The final ranking as No. 1 in the NCAA tournament is every team’s goal, but getting to the top during the regular season is a great memory to have.
I think the Zags are a very good team and worthy of a high ranking, but Zona and Kansas are the 2 best teams right now.
Gotta give them some credit. Yeah, their conference schedule is weak, but they’re pretty much destroying everyone they play. As a KU fan I’ve got respect for this Zags team.
It is hard for any team to be undefeated, but try having to play in the ACC where 6 of the teams are in the top 25 and most of the other teams would be if they didn’t have to play other ACC teams. No disrespect, just think the Zags haven’t been tested.
Maybe u should tell teams in the ACC to start playing gonzaga, instead of being scared of them.
