Two men shot while selling gun at Portland park

PORTLAND – Portland police say two men were wounded in a shooting at Woodlawn Park.

Sgt. Pete Simpson says the victims met with two or three other men to sell a gun Sunday night. He says one man shot both victims and then took the gun that was the subject of the sale.

The suspects ran from the park.

Officers applied tourniquets to the victims’ injuries as they awaited the arrival of paramedics. Both men are expected to survive.

No arrests have been made.
