Patrol road by trail

I live on East Maringo Drive, east of Argonne Road. Maringo Road runs from Argonne to Upriver Drive. Maringo is part of the Centennial Trail. We have many people walking, riding bikes and jogging. Maringo seems to be the best way to avoid the traffic light at Upriver Drive. The speed limit on Maringo is 25 mph. We have vehicles traveling 40 to 50 mph daily. The sheriff’s office placed a radar sign on Maringo last year. I recorded all of the speeds. It’s just a matter of time that someone is going to be hit or killed.

I have spoken with the sheriff’s office on several occasions. I’m told they do not have a patrol division. I find it funny that I see cars being pulled over throughout the Valley. If you use this portion of the trail, you know what I am speaking of. If you use this road, please call the sheriff’s office and request they patrol it.
