GU’s Killian Tillie scores 20, helps France advance to U19 World Cup quarterfinals

Gonzaga’s Killian Tillie came through with 20 points and seven rebounds to lead France past Puerto Rico 84-66 Wednesday at the FIBA U19 World Cup in Cairo.

Tillie, a rising sophomore forward, made 9 of 15 shots. He added five assists and two steals in 31 minutes.

In four games, Tillie is averaging 10 points, 7. 3 rebounds and 2.8 assists.

France (4-0) meets Canada in Friday’s quarterfinals.
