Press favors trans agenda
The Spokesman-Review’s July 2 lead article (with portrait) featured a man who longs for womanhood. Throughout the article, female pronouns identified this Eastern Washingtonian as it described support for the surgery to modify his male reproductive organs to simulate female reproductive organs.
With sensational social advocacy, news stories highlighting individuals in conflict with their sexual biology are mounting. Consistently, reporters empathetically identify the individuals using pronouns opposite to the sex that is defined by their natural reproductive organs. By such means, the news media’s repeated implication is that there’s a problem with society, and not with the sexually-mentally conflicted individual.
For over a century, progressives insisted that only physical attributes differentiate men and women. But, neuroscience recently discovered that the same hormones that differentiate development of male and female reproductive organs significantly differentiate male and female brain structures and functions. Now, many progressives advocate one’s sex is cognitive, not biological.
Science-denying news media wantonly avoids an honestly rational definition of sex because the obvious, mundane truth doesn’t fit the current progressive narrative. But, progressive falsehoods weave a tangled web of contradiction. Fostering this sexual confusion, it’s no wonder our state’s progressives don’t want biology tests determining graduation.
