Man dies in UTV crash near Calder, Idaho

A man died late Wednesday night when his Gator utility vehicle went down an embankment and overturned on Potlatch Road 2 miles east of Calder, according to the Idaho State Police.

Fernando A. Camayo, 35, was driving the John Deere UTV when he backed over an embankment around 11 p.m. Camayo, of Peru, was not wearing a helmet or a seat belt, the ISP said. He died at the scene.

The crash is under investigation.
