Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies are on the lookout for a man accused of stabbing a woman while high on LSD Sunday evening.

Deputies were called to the 10100 block of E. 15th Avenue near Dartmouth Road in Spokane Valley at about 6 p.m., where they found a woman with a non-life-threatening wound to her neck, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. She told deputies she began arguing with a man, later identified by deputies as 37-year-old Raymond Pfluger, when he suddenly grabbed her by the throat while holding a pocket knife and she began screaming.

Pfluger, who was reportedly high on LSD at the time, ran from the scene while shedding clothing, deputies said. With the assistance of a K9 team, deputies searched the area but were unable to locate him.

“I don’t know if he ever got naked,” said Deputy Mark Gregory, spokesman for the sheriff’s office. “But we did get his shoes and his shirt.”

Anyone with information on Pfluger’s whereabouts are asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
