The Seattle Mariners scored seven runs in the fourth inning in Tuesday’s 12-3 win over the Minnesota Twins.

Danny Valencia hit a three-run double and later in the frame, Kyle Seager cranked a three-run home run.

The M’s went on to generate 12 hits and 12 runs against five pitchers. The most efficient “pitcher” the Twins sent up was catcher Chris Gimenez, who pitched a 1-2-3 eighth inning, the fourth time he’s been asked to mop up for the bullpen this season.

Seattle is averaging 7.67 runs per game over the last nine games (69 runs). The M’s have won four straight and are now 18-10 at home this season.

Seager ended up 2 for 4 with four RBIs. It was his 18th four-plus RBI game of his career.
