Congress wasting time

Members of Congress should quit wasting their time and ours. Instead of trying to come up with a new health care program, they should do something productive like limiting the huge increases in drug costs. Right now they seem to be working to eliminate the financial protections that an earlier Congress voted on in order to save us from a repeat of the 2008 financial collapse. How about just letting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau protect us a little bit. I’m not in need of bigger and richer banks. I just need someone to keep phony charities from calling me nightly.

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers seems to be spending a lot of energy defending her presidential pick. She could spend her time more wisely by checking her new AHCA health policy to see if she is covered for a new backbone.

And finally, instead of spending hours daily on the phone raising money, how about getting together with the members of the other party for a few beers and some chuckles. That could possibly be the most productive way to use your time. Lordy, there’s more than enough to laugh at in D.C.
