Idaho women fall to Northern Arizona, lose chance at Big Sky bye

Raina Perez scored 26 points and visiting Northern Arizona (9-19, 5-12) knocked off Idaho (15-13, 10-7) 76-61 on Wednesday, killing its chances of receiving a bye in the Big Sky tournament.

Idaho is two games out of the last bye seed with one to play.

NAU broke open a close game through three quarters with a 25-14 fourth-quarter run.

Brooke Reilly led Idaho with 23 points, including three 3-pointers. Karlee Wilson had 14 points and Mikayla Ferenz added 11.

The Vandals close out regular season play against Southern Utah on Friday.
