WSU’s Anderson fifth in Scottsdale golf tournament
Zach Anderson finished with a 69 on the final day of the Desert Intermountain Collegiate golf tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona, and placed fifth on Sunday to lead Washington State.
Anderson finished the three rounds over the Desert Mountain Outlaw Course at 5 under, five strokes back of winner Lee Hodges of Alabama.
Michigan won the team title at 13 under with Washington State placing fifth at 6 over.
