Misfire on guns

“Senate votes to block Obama rule and give guns to mentally impaired”: “The Republican Congress (on Feb. 15) sent President Trump legislation blocking an Obama-era rule designed to keep guns out of the hands of mentally impaired people.”

Who in their right mind would think it a good idea to put guns back in the hands of mentally disturbed people? There is not one possible good outcome from this action. It’s pure lunacy. I don’t care what party you’re with, I’ll guarantee you that the very next person that gets shot from one of these people will also no longer think that it was a good idea either.

These politicians proposing this are not out for our well-being or are representing our values, needs or safety. Anyone that could propose such a ridiculous bill and not think that they’re not going to have their sanity questioned should be immediately removed from office for gross incompetence.

We need to have some real true representation of our values back in our government electorates, and this bill just proves they have no plan to do so. Hopefully Trump doesn’t sign this bill and further the lunacy.
