Support life, chastity

Regarding Mary Nabor’s Feb. 4 letter concerning women’s rights addressed to Stephanie Cates, chairwoman of the Republican Party: I wish to respond to three of her concerns.

First, there is nothing right about abortion, nor is it a choice. My heart aches for the generation who had to survive the abortion holocaust. This includes my own nieces and nephews. Nothing should be more insulting for a pregnant woman to be asked if she is going to have an abortion. She should rightfully respond, “How dare you ask if I’m going to have my baby killed.”

Second, the Affordable Care Act with its mandate of contraception coverage is reason enough for it to be destroyed, as this immoral act prevents life. Contraception and abortion are not health care.

Third, Planned Parenthood definitely must be defunded, as the organization only cares about itself. And shame, shame on such escorts who walk alongside women into their facility to get away from abortion protesters. These escorts only mislead women who always have the chance to change their minds and give life. Planned Parenthood only wishes to meet their abortion quotas.

Let’s all support life and chastity.
