Gonzaga’s Nigel Williams-Goss on Monday earned another first-team All-America honor.

The junior guard was selected to the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) first team, joining UCLA’s Lonzo Ball, Villanova’s Josh Hart, Kansas’ Frank Mason III and Purdue’s Caleb Swanigan.

Williams-Goss, Hart, Mason and Ball are guards and finalists for the Oscar Robertson Trophy as USBWA’s player of the year.

Williams-Goss averages 16.9 points and 4.8 assists per game. He was named first-team All-America by Sports Illustrated last week.

Top-seeded Gonzaga (32-1) opens the NCAA tournament against No. 16 South Dakota State on Thursday in Salt Lake City.

The USBWA’s second team: Oregon’s Dillon Brooks, North Carolina’s Justin Jackson, Duke’s Luke Kennard, Kentucky’s Malik Monk and Baylor’s Johnathan Motley.
