SALT LAKE CITY – Oddsmakers think it is extremely likely Nigel Williams-Goss will play a key role in a deep NCAA Tournament run by Gonzaga. In fact, there is only one player they believe is more likely to be named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.

Bovada gives Williams-Goss 10-to-1 odds to win the tournament’s top individual honor, the same odds given to Arizona’s Allonzo Trier, North Carolina’s Justin Jackson, Villanova’s Josh Hart and Kansas’ Frank Mason III.

Duke’s Luke Kennard is the curent favorite with odds of 8-to-1.

Bovada also gives Gonzaga the best odds of making the Sweet 16. GU’s odds of 1-to-6 (meaning a bettor would need to risk $600 to win $100) lead the pack of NCAA heavyweights, including Arizona (2-to-5), Duke (1-to-4), Kansas (1-to-5), Kentucky (1-to-2), Louisville (9-to-5) and Villanova (1-to-5).
