Snoqualme Pass on Interstate 90 was closed Wednesday near Easton as a semitruck hauling hay rolled over at about 6:40 a.m., spilling hay onto the roadway.

The cause of the crash is unknown, the Washington State Patrol reported. There were no injuries and no other vehicles involved.

WSP and Washington State Department of Transportation officials cleared the blockage.

WSP Trooper Camron Iverson said crews have been able to open one lane for a few minutes at a time to let traffic through while they waited on a tow truck to arrive.

Traction tires are advised because there is snow and slush on the roadway. Oversize vehicles are prohibited.
