Final Four opportunity benches Winner’s Circle breakfast for a month

The monthly Winner’s Circle breakfast slated Monday in Coeur d’Alene had to call a timeout because of basketball.

Organizer Marshall Mend said that his featured speaker for the Monday, April 3 breakfast, Parker Toyota partner Mike White, landed a set of Final Four tickets and asked to suit up for the Gonzaga game instead of standing up for a business breakfast.

“Great guy. He’s got a great story,” said Mend, the Realtor and motivational guru behind the Winner’s Circle. “Can’t blame him.”

Mend wants to spread word of the breakfast cancelation and assure those who had planned to attend the event at North Idaho College that the meeting for May was still on. White’s turn in the rotation will be determined later, Mend said.
