Prep soccer roundup: Central Valley edges LC, advances to regional finals
Rudy Stretch and Devon Hauenstein scored unassisted goals in the 34th and 37th minutes respectively and Central Valley (13-2) advanced to the 4A bi-regional title game, beating visiting Lewis and Clark (13-2) 2-1 on Friday.
Jasper Rush brought in the lone goal for Lewis and Clark in the 60th minute.
Central Valley advances to play Pasco in the championship match in the Tri-Cities on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Pasco got goals from Joel Valle and Jesus Meraz-Rodriguez and downed visiting Ferris (10-6) 3-0 on the top of the bracket.
Ferris will play the winner of Saturday’s Richland/Walla Walla match on Tuesday in a loser-out.
Lewis and Clark plays the winner of Saturday’s Hanford/University matchup on Tuesday in a loser-out.
