What is Trump hiding?

So, for folks who don’t understand why some citizens demand to see The Donald’s tax returns, or what impact it would potentially have, I’ll spitball a couple of ideas.

First, and probably foremost, were any of his businesses bankrolled by countries who could now potentially manipulate him to do their bidding? Think a Mafia loan to the president. This has huge implications for all citizens of America.

If Trump’s tax returns show him to be less than a billionaire, it would mean he has lied about one of his most existential traits. The lying is old news, but if he has lied about being a billionaire, he is lying about the largest part of his Trumpiness. What is he hiding?

He said he would release his tax returns. He hasn’t. People want to see them because of the potential for foreign actors to manipulate the leadership of the most powerful nation in the world. The potential ramifications are scary, indeed.
