Prep softball roundup: North Central falls to Kennewick in regional play-in game

Marivel Macias hit a walk-off double and Kennewick beat North Central (2-17) 11-10 in the loser-out play-in game to the 3A regional tournament.

Kennewick scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning for a 10-8 lead, only to see NC tie the score with two runs in the top of the seventh.

Macias finished the game with two hits – both doubles.

Harmony Bay went 3 for 5 with two triples for North Central.

Kennewick will host Shadle Park (16-3) in a loser-out game on Friday.
