5. Northwest Spring Fest 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Kootenai County Fairgrounds, 4056 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene. The Captain USA monster truck returns with three of his friends, dirt bike stunt show, more than 120 vendors, a livestock show, archery ranger, pony rides, tons of inflatable jump toys, community stage and more. 6. J. Robert Lennon, Leyna Krow and Shawn Vestal 7 p.m. Wednesday, Auntie’s Bookstore, 402 W. Main Ave. J. Robert Lennon is the author of eight novels and will be reading from his new book “Broken River.” Leyna Krow’s new collection of short stories is entitled “I’m Fine, But You Appear to be Sinking.” Shawn Vestal’s debut novel “Daredevils” was published in 2016. 7. “From Bach to Rock!” 6 p.m. Thursday, North Idaho College, Schuler Performing Arts Center, 1000 Garden Ave, Coeur d’Alene. Season finale concert presented by Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy.
