Wildwood Grilling of Sandpoint is embarking on a $2 million capital expansion that will create 21 new jobs.

The company makes wood products for grilling such as planks, wraps, smoking chips and skewers using western red cedar and other woods. Wildwood Grilling was founded in 2007. The products are sold in grocery stores and through food service outlets.

Wildwood Grilling’s expansion will be supported with a tax reimbursement incentive of 14 percent for seven years approved by the Idaho Economic Advisory Council.

“We love doing business in Idaho and have been looking for a viable way to grow our company,” said Erin Brandt-Curmi, Wildwood’s marketing director.
