Idaho man dead, another injured after small plane crashes

BOISE – A Boise man died and another sustained serious injuries when their small plane crashed in southwest Idaho.

The Owyhee County Sheriff’s Office said the crash on Friday killed 56-year-old Dan Hilde and injured 42-year-old Gerald Bublitz.

Bublitz on Saturday was listed in critical condition at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Federal authorities are investigating the crash.
