Architecture

NAC Architecture has hired Georgia Larsen, Jessica Shoemaker and Kris Jeske. Larsen, an architectural designer, is working on Moses Lake High School No. 2 and Quincy High School. She comes to NAC from Stantec. Shoemaker is an architect currently working on the Northwest Pediatric Ophthalmology renovation and the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center Interventional Radiology Room Seven renovation. Jeske, an architect, is also working on Moses Lake High School No. 2 and comes from ALSC Architects.

Education

Washington State University’s College of Pharmacy has honored R. Keith Campbell with its Lifetime Achievement Award. Campbell is a WSU graduate and worked more than 45 years at the College of Pharmacy, including as program administrator, professor, director, student adviser and associate dean of student services. To further Campbell’s legacy, the Applied Patient Care Lab and the student study area in the Biomedical Sciences Building at WSU Health Sciences Spokane will be renamed the R. Keith Campbell Applied Patient Care Lab. The college also announced the award will be renamed as The R. Keith Campbell Lifetime Achievement Award.

Law

Thomas B. Rohrer has joined the firm of Feltman, Gebhardt, Greer & Zeimantz. The associate attorney is a graduate of Gonzaga School of Law and has interned with the Washington state Supreme Court and the state attorney general’s office. Rohrer is a member of the Washington State Bar Association.

Events

Greater Spokane Incorporated and the Journal of Business will present the 20th annual Economic Forecast on Wednesday.

At the event, “Anniversaries, Long Shadows, Help Wanted,” Grant Forsyth, chief economist at Avista Corp., and John W. Mitchell, principal at M&H Economic Consultants, will discuss the state of the regional labor, housing and business markets in a fluctuating world. Attorney Elizabeth Kelley will moderate a discussion after their presentations.
