Man arrested in connection with string of Coeur d’Alene burglaries

A man suspected of burglarizing several homes in Coeur d’Alene was arrested Sunday morning in Hayden.

Christian Saganski, 29, of Hayden, admitted to police that he was behind several burglaries in Hawks Nest, The Landings, and Coeur d’Alene Place subdivisions in Coeur d’Alene in addition to other burglaries in Hayden, police said in a news release.

Saganaski was apparently caught on home surveillance video Friday at a residence in the 3700 block of West Pescador Drive leaving with several items, police said. Detectives were called in to investigate and were able to identify the 29-year-old as the suspect.

Saganski was arrested Sunday without incident, police said. He was transported to Kootenai County Jail, where he was booked on an arrest warrant.
